For furnishings only projects, we estimate 6-8 months from concept to completion. When construction is involved, project timelines can vary widely. We will discuss the project schedule with you from the beginning and we’ll keep a pulse on our momentum throughout so you’ll always know how close we are to the finish line.
Billing is done in two ways: time billing and furnishings deposits. Each month, you will receive a time billing invoice for the hours our team has spent in design, project management, and procurement. If your project includes furniture, we request a 50% deposit at ordering and the remaining 50% 6-8 weeks prior to install.
Absolutely. We have successfully worked with a number of reliable and collaborative builders who will blow you away with their talent and execution.
Of course! We are a highly collaborative studio and would welcome the opportunity to work with your current builder, architect, or designer.
Once we’ve met with you to discuss the goals for your home, we will assemble a proposal. This proposal includes the scope of work and an estimation of timing and fees. If all looks great after your review, we’ll submit a formal design agreement with all the legal details. It takes about 2 weeks after the signing of the design agreement before we’re kicking off our discovery and inspiration phase.
