Situated in the Del Monte Forest, the home is surrounded by what Pebble Beach is known for: true resort-style living. This is the 6th home that we’ve designed for the formerly Houston-based family of five. They have a wonderful art collection including works by Roy Lichtenstein, Marc Chagall, and Damien Hirst. They are not afraid of vibrant hues and rare pieces, happy to invest in that wow-factor find. For the homeowners, livable luxury was their top priority, balancing youthfulness and sophistication in a modern space.

The main floor explores tonality. A spectacular chandelier from Poliedri Murano really pulls the formal living room together. Its delicate glass components evoke the reflective surface of water, with each piece requiring individual assembly by the design team.
The dining room features a palette of sandalwood, with Theodore Alexander host chairs, and is punctuated by plaster convex mirrors and cerused oak finishes.
In the owner's retreat, handsome and subdued neutrals create a space of modern serenity. While in the bath, a spa-like oasis is created with dark, large-format stone, dynamic veining in the marble countertops, and matte black finishes.
The intimate spaces, like the bedrooms and conservatory, communicate the personalities of the homeowners through color and playfulness.
